My TV defaults to 4K which is the only thing I use to watch YouTube. Also my 5 year old MacBook Pro can edit 4K videos just fine. If you don't add filters and you leave it in the native format, the video should save in less or the same amount of time as the duration of the video. Let YouTube or other places you upload it to handle converting it to lower qualities.
