What I would be more considered is getting installed properly because this glass is structural and bonded to the body.
this.. many people don't realize that once the windshield is installed is becomes part of the unibody structure. A competent glass shop is a must to prevent issues w/ leaking or rust down the road from poorly scraped glue from the pillars
