Thanks for the help and yes I have searched and read that exact thread. FYI - that thread does not answer any of my questions. I found a way to get tickets but still wonder if it's worth the hassle and lack of guarantee. Also, the email on that link is incorrect. The new email for the ring taxi is

So...back to my question: it is worth it?? Also, has anyone been able to walk up and get tickets without a reservation?
