I agree. The other thing that is neglected is the fact that pushing the boost on the turbo to get nearly the same performance in a straight line as the M can't be good for longevity. I know that many will say that it has been "tested", but there is most likely a reason that BMW isn't running boost pressures in this range. It isn't because they want to market an "ultimate driving machine" that is mediocre.

That and I've never had an issue with torque on the M. I typically find that I have to be a bit conservative on the throttle if I don't want to risk an "exhibition of speed" charge.
