09 is HD based. all you have to do is take it to a german dealership that is willing to do it for you. most BMW dealerships near US military installations are familiar with the process as all newly delivered US spec cars come with US maps on them from factory. Price varies, but shouldn't be too much. Are you moving to Germany on Fed Government business or private company? If not under SOFA status, you will have to modify the car to pass TUF regulations.
