When I got it back I did some maintenance including the rod bearings... although I still haven't cracked 50K miles.
By the way - I love your space gray with the black wheels. Perfect combo of classy looking but skips the dirty-in-5-minutes jet black. I really wanted a sparkling graphite/6MT/E92 no nav but those things are like unicorns.

Thanks, I love the black wheels when they are clean. As you said, that usually only takes a day to get covered in brake dust.
Luckily she is a garage queen. I have a bike as well, so the nice weekends are split between the two which cuts down the miles and brake dust.
BTW, my car only has 22k on the clock and i did rod bearings at 20k. I figured i would not tempt fate with it being supercharged. As you might suspect, the bearings were pretty clean...
