From what I've seen and experienced...I don't think tires rotating itself on the wheel being a huge issue. Not unless it is causing a loss of tire pressure. I've seen cases of losing pressure from hitting a curb or bump while sliding sideways and momentarily causing air to get past the rim/tire bead.
You'd have to rotate the tire quite a bit to throw off the balance enough to notice. I don't see that happening with ABS.
