It would be stupid to trade for him this year. Keep Kuzma and Ingram, add Kawhi next summer as a free agent and give up nothing.
Use next season to build some chemistry and go balls out next summer free agency with the cap room.
You can tell Magic and Lakers aren’t ready to give up much for Kawhi in a trade. They just basically let Randle go, instead of doing a sign and trade.
