I'm in the same boat as the OP, and this thread is quite enlightening.
There seems to be a lot of disdain for even touchless wash places, so it looks like onr or ecosmart is the way to go.

Does anyone have experience with using this

together to wash the car?
It claims to be able to tackle the grimier cars (unlike ONR), and it seems cheap enough. What do you guys think?
