Ok you guys have me concerned. I picked up my car Friday, October 15th. The dealer said they dropped the subframe and tightened some bolts on the plate below the oil pan and put in fresh oil. The noise seemed to be gone until I read some of your post above. I just came in from the garage and listened to my engine for about 15 minutes (it was already warm) I can hear a faint clicking noise. I wonder if this is the bearings??? I am so irritated with the current M3. On top of this my prior M3 which was a 2008 E90 M3 died on the 405 freeway at 80 MPH due to the alternator freezing. I truly am over the current M3. My 2011 ZCP ticking time bomb coupe is my 9th M3 and I am about to switch models in the BMW lineup. I love the M3 but, we should not be experiencing issues like several of us seem to be having.
