Slon, I would be interested depending on price. I'm a huge fan of adding structural rigidity, this is sadly rarely addressed for this platform.

i'm thinking to make this wall for my e46 m3, from carbon fiber (yep, it's all around weight) and fit it with structural glue, like using for oem carbon roofs for example.
it will add torsional rigidity a LOT.

some figures, to understand what i'm talking about.

torsional rigidity:
BMW E46 Sedan (w/o folding seats) - 18,000 Nm/deg
BMW E46 Sedan (w/folding seats) - 13,000 Nm/deg
BMW E46 Wagon (w/folding seats) - 14,000 Nm/deg
BMW E46 Coupe (w/folding seats) - 12,500 Nm/deg

what you need to see there - is the difference, between sedans, with folding seats (and the hole to the trunk), and without folding seats, where closed wall used from factory.
closed wall adds a LOT torsional rigidity.

so, next figures to answer for another questions
E46 M3: 18,500 nm/°
E46 M3 CSL: 18.750 nm/°

difference between this two cars - steel welded roof vs glued carbon roof.

so, we can see, that carbon sheet with structural glue work not worse than welded steel, but even better (yep, only little, but i'll be glad even if it will work on the same level, cause in this way i'll get lighter upgrade without loosing in stiffness).

i've planned to make this wall for my car in nearest time, but if i'll see any real interest, we can make this also for e92 chassis.
