Well, so far your criteria are pretty narrow - could you be even more vague?

What's your number one concern for your next purchase? Screen size? Weight? Processing power? Battery life? Storage capacity? Is this a travel machine or desktop replacement? Those are all factors to consider.

Right off the bat, I'll say this about Sony - unless you're looking for an ultralight notebook like their TZ line, get something else. No one can touch Sony for portability, but if you're looking for a regular full-featured notebook the price premium they want isn't worth it, imo. I say that as someone that's writing this on a Sony, has owned about 7 of them, still has 3, and is admin of a mailing list devoted to them.
