Correct, the sliders are Recaro not BMW. You can get the CS seats w/ airbags from the UK shipped over and use aftermarket rails to bolt them in. The BMWP Sports seat uses the manual sliders out of an E8x/E9x and special Recaro made rails along w/ seat frame. Not too terribly different, but they are Left and Right side specific.
