The NT01s are fine in the wet. Not as good as a PSS or RS3 of course but manageable. The limitation, as admranger mentioned, is standing water. Which is why I'd never drive them on the street even on just damp roads. But if there's standing water, street tires are only going to slightly less worse. At that point...probably not a bad idea to not go out.
