I think that's pretty normal, as the trans fluid is of course a fluid, and moves much more slowly when it's really cold, making it slower to engage. I've seen that in my R32 when it gets really cold. I guess that's a DCT advantage (
). Also, I personally find it really hard to shift smoothly in a manual when I'm freezing cold and the car is 0 degrees.
