Why would anyone let you do it themselves? The whole point of vendors is so that they have done the research and perfected their craft meaning they will not release files to anyone. If you were to do it yourself they would have to give you their files. Get my point?
You can definitely do it yourself if you figure out the programme (which is A LOT of money) and how to do the codes (time consuming).
To me it seems you have probably blasted their inbox 100 times and yes it might be wrong on their part to keep you waiting when they are checking the inbox but don't act like a kid and you will get what you want (oxymoron?).
Just my personal opinion, no need to take offense if you don't agree. GL
