He's a good driver of a manual. According to this page:

Those are fully STOCK 350Zs (down to tires and NO weight reduction). I'm willing to bet most of the variances are due to track conditions/weather/altitude etc. Going to dragtimes and clicking on 335i stock you'll see the best times are not any better than those of the 350Z. SO, stock for stock - equal race from a dig. I wouldn't be so skeptical. He obviously does a lot of drag racing and if you do enough racing, you'll eventually catch a good day where you might get .2 seconds lower than your average runs.
