He said wheel hop with "track tires". Nothing about actual track use. I think the extra grip provided by r-comp tires can exacerbate the wheel hop issue. I would suggest some mid-level stiffness for your diff bushings if whine is a big concern. There is whine with solid or delrin bushings. I didn't think delrin was that bad but I didn't DD the car.
