My experience has been with the Bimmerworld tension strut monoball and now I'm running the Turner one. Both have been quiet and really can't tell any difference in street driving. Now the one qualifier is that I don't have a stock suspension with this change only comparison. Consequently, with solid camber plates, coil over suspension and heim-joint drop links, my suspension is a bit "clunky."

I ran the BW monoball for nearly 80,000 miles and only went to the Turner monoball after I purchased their complete M-car front suspension replacement kit. At that point I had over 110,000 street and track miles and though I have no excess noise or other problems it seemed reasonable to replace the whole front end.

If you don't run on the track or don't do much track driving, I don't think I would consider this upgrade. Good stock set up is pretty good.
