bought my Interlagos Blue e90 m3 zcp dct slicktop with 75k miles for $30k from a forum member (he owned for last 50k miles). Buying from a forum member to me was a perk because I could check post history and at least I wasn't dealing with a shady business that knew nothing of the car's history. Was hoping to find one with more like 50-60k miles. Car didn't come with zcp wheels but the Apex wheels in gun metal was something I wanted to do anyway, though in a different size.

Recent maintenance to car before I bought it
  • New BE Rod Bearings with ARP bolts
  • New Motor Mounts
  • New Value Cover Gaskets, Spark Plug Tubes, and Bolts
  • New DCT Fluid, Bottom Pan Gasket, Mechatronic Gasket, Main and Suction
  • New Brake Fluid
  • New Rear Differential Fluid
  • New Spark Plugs
  • New Oil & Filter Change
  • New Engine Air Filter
  • New Cabin Air Filters
  • New Jack Pads
  • Airbag Recall Done
  • Blower Motor Recall Done

Mods by previous owner in car at time of purchase
  • Mode Carbon Fiber Front Splitter
  • Delrin & Brass Throttle Actuator Gears
  • ESS Tune
  • Euro MDM
  • APEX EC7 19 x 10 Front and 19 x 10.5 Rear Wheels
  • Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position 255/35 Front and 285/30 Rear Tires
  • APEX 90mm Wheel Studs
  • Bimmerworld Precision Front Upper Control Arm Bearing Kit
  • Powerflex Purple Rear Differential Bushings
  • Turner Motorsports Aluminum Subframe Bushings
  • Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
  • 1M Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
  • Black Kidney Grills
  • iND Painted Side Marker Reflectors
  • Optima Red Top Battery (Saves 25 lbs)
  • Bimmerworld Optima Battery Mount Kit

Down sides were
  • front lip was cracked, but I didn't want it anyway.
  • The lip was hiding a scratch on the lower passenger side of bumper which I knew about (put OEM splitters on which hide it).
  • PPI showed alignment issue I needed to deal with and uneven tire wear.
  • Bubbling on valve covers.
  • Steering wheel trim has one small blemish, wheel in good condition but not like new matte surface.
  • Interior was good condition palladium silver which isn't as bad as they say on this combo.. but not ideal. seats not heated.
  • Didn't have rear fold seats which was biggest issue with car.
  • Would also have preferred PDC option.
  • very small dent on the roof that I never see unless I go look for it.
  • Scratch on the hood near windshield that can't be paint corrected (lean over passenger side to see it).
  • The car had been tracked and the bumper had plenty of rock chips.

Wanted Interlagos blue and I paid for it. If I had to do it again I would expand my search to non ZCP cars because you can buy the wheels, code the EDC, and code euro MDM anyway. If you upgrade the suspension ZCP option isn't getting you much but resale and rarity.
