sorry for your loss OP. Yeah, Rain and M mode (sensitive throttle and mdm) no bueno for sure. Car becomes less predictable. I tracked mine a couple months back and it was raining; No M button and the car was solid (press M button once or twice and for a few seconds and felt like I was asking for trouble). Good luck on your next one; I'd say since you had it for 5 years, may be check out the F8x M for sure.
