I have just fitted a telematics combox in my 08. I used the Telmatics box so as to retain my Assist account. When I phoned both Assist and the dealers, they refused to transfer my account because my car isn't supposed to have the combox
Anyway, on reflection, I'm not too bothered about it. If I need Assist, it's right there on my phone, and if I need google send to car, I use the iphones standard google map app.
