Try adjusting the bypass valve on the side of the intake plenum. This worked for me. Since making the adjustment my kit has been nothing but wonderful. If you squeeze the hose going into the bypass valve and your issue stops then what I said about adjusting the BPV is what you need to do. Let us know how it goes.

i tried all that and its still making the knocking sound. i think mine is defected just like the op
