I wish I could find the OG data but I did read something about the oils and their sheer factor # and it was something along the lines of:
Mobil 1 15w50 - 13,000
Liqui Moly 10w60 - 18,000
BMW/Shell 10w60 - 22,500
That can be directly related to the amount of Zinc in the oil, so it would be interesting to see where the Valvoline VR1 oil stands up against them. After reading that article though, it's why I have stayed with the BMW oil for the change intervals. YMMV
