What strikes me the most - these features should be f'ing FREE to begin with [driving assist that is]; just as a backup camera becomes a standard equipment requirement now.
It just freaking wrong to charge an extra for a technology that could potentially prevent an injury or death and save a life instead.
I don't see them charging us a premium for the airbags ... why this should be any different. Entertainment - yes, but safety ?
