It happened to mine, I took it apart it and found the plastic cam and bearing worn/broken and missing the stop and 180 degrees out. It isn't a serviceable part without replacing the mirror. Try manually folding it and pressing the button too. See if you can get it back into position.

Hey Sammy,
Helping it does not change anything, it hasn't been coded. When folded the same thing happens it moves very little but not enough to even look like it went anywhere.
