BMW is not the dealer I bought the car from. That dealer has said they can't find the parts in stock. Yet, BMW does have them, but the price...

Tell the dealer you will consider the offer to buy it back (just in case), go find a reputable Indy shop specializing in BMW M cars, should be easy to find... get a proper PPI and a real assessment of the mods and what they recommend as far as going back to stock.. should be nothing to go back to stock. If the PPI clears the other aspects then you can keep the car and move on with the super simple stock x-pipe and exhaust path, which is probably at worst a net zero cost. It's very simple....
