b4hand - Tackform makes a great mount
https://www.tackform.com/collections/vehicle-action-cam and you should be able to position it between you and a passenger and still get a good field of view. I used one while I still had the factory seats in and it stayed locked in place very well - even at Harris Hill pre repave - can't beat that for an endorsement
The other option is mount the cam to someone's old half cage. With a matching set of OMP HTE-R's that are both now ready to find a new home...
