as long as its stored indoors and not left outside where it freezes, thaws, and heats up over and over again, i think you'll be fine.

i have oil from 2005 that i just put into the car in my last oil change. it looked exactly like the newer oil. there was no discoloration or separation of the oil, color was the same, viscosity was the same. i used 4 bottles of oil oil and 5 bottles of new oil altogether.
