I've had discussions with one of the tuners on this, and basically have been told on a torque-based engine based management systems (like our EMS) that air fuel ratios don't actually matter too much, as the ECU basically adapts timing and other functions in attempt to reach a target torque output. To that end you don't need a "custom" tune for this modification (flamesuit on)...

If you leave the factory down pipe in place, you are probably missing out on 10-15WHP. An HFC won't make much difference in terms of power (might lose a few HP), but generally will give you better low RPM torque (like around 2000-2500RPM) than a catless down pipe.
