Had a quick go at a BMW day last year. Normal street driving so can't say much about when you get on it. Plenty grunt, tossable, better sound than the E8x, overall nice. Looks good but nothing like the E9x imo. Obviously "cheaper" inside as its meant to.
In summary plenty car for the buck but personally would never trade my E90M for one which to me feels and sound much more special.
