I'm not entirely sure that driving MR/RR cars is the ideal way to do that. They handle very differently from an FR setup like the M3. As I'm sure you noticed, the rotation of an MR car and the moment of inertia is insanely fast.

There are a lot of great performance driving schools out there, though you may need to travel a bit. I think Road Atlanta and AMP have them but they are more focused on track driving. I went to Bondurant a few years ago, took the class locally at Autobahn Country Club, and almost did Spring Mountain/Ron Fellows this past winter. They all focus on fundamentals like skid recovery, weight transfer, braking technique, etc., and have more advanced programs that get you into the road racing stuff once you're ready.
