Lol yeah 99% sure it's his car since there are only 2 LS3 Depo headlights on a 1series in the west coast, him and jzang.
It was heading the opposite direction so I checked the rear view and it looked like an SG trunk as well but was a bit hard to see since I have the dimming mirrors and window tint.
