So if you look earlier in the thread I actually installed electric sliders on my last m3! A number of reasons I went manual this time around, including the speed-of-adjustment as SYT_Shadow mentioned (faster to let the kids in the back seats). I also just wanted the simplicity of install, for the electrics I would have soldered and heat-shrinked everything perfectly again, takes a decent amount of time to do. I was also preserving my electric seats to re-install at a later date and grabbed some BMW i3 manual sliders off eBay for the Nogaros. Another reason, just always wanted manual seats in an e92 m3. Some folks would also mention less weight but that wasn't a huge factor for me.

Good point that someone else raised regarding a pro of the power sliders being micro-adjustments when harnessed in. Can't really do a fine adjustment with the manuals.

Either way you go they are both excellent options, down to personal preference.
