Hey guys,

Need some advice. I recently got a CEL that cleared by itself after a couple days of driving (car drove normally, no limp mode) and a dct tranny light that also cleared by itself. The tranny light came on b/c I pressed on the gas before the gear engaged in reverse and the gear popped out. Turned the car off and restarted and it went away, tranny shifts normally. So my question is, should I take my car into the dealership to diagnosis if these cleared?
I had a similar thing happen to my car over the weekend. I took it to the dealer who put the scope on it and they said it stored a "insignificant code". They erased it and said not to worry about it. Before I took it to the dealer the car ran great and the CEL reset itself on the first restart after it came on.

So it's up to you but you might want the dealer to put the scope on it just to be safe.
