I installed the hotter thermostat recently. When the engine is hot, the temp gauge is reading slightly higher, probably around 10 degrees but it’s hard to tell exactly how much due to the partial grading of the gauge. The fan is definitely running more often.

As for benefits, I will need more to to tell. The car is probably is warming up faster. I have not driven enough to measure mpg or oil consumption but should know within a few months.
