Why is everyone giving him Penfed, Navy Fed and USAA info? What if he's not connected to military or dept. of defense? he's asking how to do it, not where it's the cheapest.
Go to bank or credit union where you want to take out the loan, tell them it's a private sale, they'll tell you what they need from you and seller to cut you a check. It's a bit painful, but beats getting reamed by a dealer
