sorry to bump this old thread but I have to chime in. K40 is an absolute waste of money, don't let the BMW stealership con you into this. Escort shifters are not much better. A blinder M27 is not enough to protect the front end of an E90. I have an M47 on the front of my E90 and it isn't as good as a Laser Interceptor dual. OP did you ever test your set up?
