Wow that is fantastic bang-for-your-buck. Particularly worth it if I find a nice pre-owned v10 R8 in a couple years. I owe you a ride for this good news.

I am/was contemplating something a little different than a VT3 build with the M3. I want to extend the RPM band to 9,500 or higher. It would still produce power with the centrifugal blower. This would require springs, rods and software from initial research...and isn't as costly as the VT3 build. The only issue I'm finding is whether the DCT can rev this high. It all may be a moot point however if I have soemthing like the R8 to look forward to and will just allocate $$ for that endeavor.
