I have Carbotech xp12 on front and stock pads on rear and have used them for two years on the M3, 4 years on an Evo 8, and 5 years on a ZO6 before with no issues (XP-10 before the 12's came out). I use Motul RBF 600 which has a very high dry boiling temp because this is what you need and it is very reasonably priced.
