I bought a set of Supercar 3R second hand (bought them mounted on rims) with 1 heat cycle and minimal wear. 275 35 18

Other post was spot on, except that these perform best at 30 cold. This hit roughly 37 hot. I dropped down to 32 hot and got a LOT more push, understeer. This was confirmed with the last owner who said that he experimented and found the 30 cold, 36-38 hot perfect as well. I own a lighter E92, which maybe explains this? Other people at the track were in disbelief at this, I was as well. These like a LOT of heat. If you think they’re good at lower temps, you’ll be shocked by how great they are at higher temps.

Scary for the first 4-5 minutes then a plateau of awesome grip, consistent for a 25 min session. A very predictable tire.

I am running a minimally modified car, with 2 degrees camber and hybrid pads.

Full disclosure, I had to stop early because these would cause my pads to smoke and after about 3 full hours on track, I had noticeable outside wear.

I will upgrade camber and pad compound and see how these tires fare, but otherwise, an excellent tire.

At $380 for PSC2, you might as well just buy real Michelin slicks. There are several 27 65 18 for $400 on ebay right now, which is the corresponding slick size.

For this price, I would strongly consider replacing these with more 3Rs, RE71R, or Nankang AR-1.
