My car ran above 220 in super hot weather on the highway just cruising at 75 before the bearing change (18k miles ago) and hasn’t gone above 210 without beating on it since the rod bearing change.

I’m sure I can’t say if it’s oil related or not but I do know my car runs lower temps on the highway according to the factory extremely accurate (lol) gauge with BE bearings on 5w50 than it did on stock bearings with 0w40, or 10w60f or 5w50. So I don’t know much, lol

Main thing I like about the redline 5w50 is consumption has dropped to the point where I can change it at 5-6000 mile intervals without having to add any in between, and it seems to me to be a better oil for anpurely street driven car than the 10w60’s
