This will be available as of July 2012 production for the F01 7 Series LCI, the F10 and F11 5 Series, the F31 3 Series Touring and the F30 Active Hybrid 3. F30 328i and 335i will follow as of November 2012 production.

Yes, my dealer gave me just the same info around three weeks ago (availability of new iDrive), which is why we placed the order for f30 335 for November production.
The wait will surely kill me, but now I know it's worth it
