I'm pretty sure some stitch welding and some reinforcement are involved to stiffen up the 328i chassis and get it up to par like the M3. It's either that or the OP may have just transferred most of the 328i parts on an M3 chassis (with some modifications, or course) and just did the next difficult task, which is bodywork.
