Did you have any luck figuring out their explanation for the iDrive controller? The A#, B# C# permutations they have seem a bit confusing, I don't know if they just leave that their for their own configuration and the E9x wiring is setup correctly out of the box.
This is where the $400 for english instructions might be handy.
