I felt the same way, this Carsara unit seemed to have some good comments and included the ability to use the factory mic hookup, so I'm going to chance it, it just left China so if I get it before black Friday will try to hook it up and see if it matches the Bimmertech unit. Since the hardware looks identical I assume I'll be able to leverage the Bimmertech video like the others posted which was half of my concern (having documentation that didn't make any sense).
