I just bought a set of style 260 (18 inch M3 OEM) off ebay with new PS2s for $1800. When my e90 comes in, I'm going to mount all four of my 245/40-18 Michelin PA2s (winter tires) on the 8.5x18 et28 wheels and mount them with 10mm spacers in the rear. Then I'm going to sell all four new 245/40-18 PS2s (maybe get $700-$800 bucks), so total cost including shipping will be $1300 for a second set of wheels and a second set of rear tires.
In the meantime, I can run my e46 with the new 18s and won't have to buy another set of rear PS2s for that car while waiting for the e90; saving another $700. Plus I think the grey 18s will look great on my jet black e46.
Next summer, I'll run a square set-up of 265s front and rear on the 9.5 inch wheels.
