Almost five short years of joyous ownership later, I finally got around to snapping proper photos of my M3 with a DSLR. The surrounding landscape isn't the prettiest, but that's not the focus.
The M3 has been my "practical" dream car, ever since the E36 (in Estoril Blue). This is my first M3, which I'd like to keep in my garage indefinitely. During my search, my requirements were simply a manual transmission and SSII paint. Initially wanting an E90 (for overall practicality), but then settled on an E92 and never looked back.
I stumbled on this base one-owner M3 at CarMax of all places and being somewhat of a minimalist, I loved the idea of having a timeless "driver's car". I felt the stripped-down spec really paid tribute to M GmbH core heritage.
Over the years from stock, I have gradually refreshed the car with OEM, M Performance, and various functional upgrades to be inline with this principal of thought; almost as if BMW had intended to deliver a "lightweight" or enthusiast edition of our beloved E92 M3.
