As a present E92 M3 and 2014' M6 ownerI'm quite disappointed in BMW not using the 4.4L S65 which they already had. It confirms BMW wanted to use the same engine across the board and say they did it to save fuel. I smell B.S.
The 4.4L twin turbo in my M6 is a monster but I still get a bigger smile roaring to redline in the S65 M3.
The GT 350 may be in the line up for me in the future. I look forward to the M2 but if it cost the same or more than the GT 350 I'd have to that direction. 500 Hp, 8k rpm, and I'm sure a massive aftermarket to follow. Congratulations Ford!!
