Stock M3 Picks Up 52WHP in Best Dyno Pull on the Same Day

The E92 BMW M3 is a fast car to begin with, but we were pleasantly surprised how much extra power we got running E85 with the PROFLEX Commander™. We ran multiple dyno pulls on the same day and recorded the results.

We tested the M3 at 1.5% ethanol both with and without the PROFLEX Commander™, then tested it with the PROFLEX Commander™ at 37%, 60%, and 75% ethanol. With each higher concentration of ethanol we saw an increase in horsepower with the biggest gain of 52HP at the wheels coming at 75% ethanol that day, which is the biggest gain we've seen yet on this car. These gains were incredible considering 10-15HP gains are expected on this vehicle. The vehicle consistently maintained its proper air/fuel ratio for each pull and registered cooler oil temperatures with ethanol.

All dyno tests were repeated a minimum of 3 times to ensure accuracy. Ambient temperatures were also over 100 degrees, which we believe strongly shows the cooling effects of running ethanol.

There was also testing done with a VF Supercharged M3. This M3 had a VF Engineering 650 supercharger system and had a baseline of 527HP and 359ft-tq before installing our PROFLEX Commander™. After installation, our friends at Eurocharged ATX ran the car on 32%, 48%, and 61% ethanol. At 61% the car made 576HP to the wheels picking up 49HP without any additional tuning. It also picked up 25ft-tq.
